Who are we?

Nicola Carrel
My name is Nicola Carrel, and I have been working as a cross-country ski instructor since 2021. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students of all levels discover the elegance—and the occasional challenge—of moving on snow with confidence.
I’m someone who loves spending summer in the mountains, whether I’m exploring trails on foot or riding my bike along scenic paths. Hiking lets me enjoy the quiet side of nature, while cycling adds a bit of speed and adventure to my days outdoors. For me, the mountains are the perfect place to recharge, discover new landscapes, and enjoy every moment of the warm season.
Since 2026, I have also been a UIMLA-certified International Mountain Leader. My dream is to share my passion for the mountains with you and take you along some of the finest and most exclusive trails in my incredible home region, discovering hidden corners, breathtaking landscapes and authentic mountain experiences far from the crowds.
Passionate about nature, sport, and teaching, I truly enjoy sharing the beauty of the mountains in a friendly, motivating, and positive way.
Stefano Carrel
My name is Stefano Carrel and I was born on December 27, 1994, in Aosta Valley, which, in my opinion, is the most beautiful region in the world.
Over the years, I have been lucky enough to travel for both work and pleasure, visiting Nepal, Patagonia, Norway, Greece, Spain, France and Switzerland. Although all of these places are truly wonderful, none of them can match the beauty of our beloved Vallée.
We are incredibly fortunate to live among some of the most beautiful 4,000-metre peaks in the Alps, from the Matterhorn to Monte Rosa, from Mont Blanc to Gran Paradiso.
It therefore felt completely natural for me to develop a passion for the mountains from a very young age. I started skiing at the age of six and became a cross-country ski instructor in 2014.
A little later, at the age of 18, I discovered climbing. It immediately became a great passion, which eventually led me to become an aspirant mountain guide in 2020 and then a mountain guide in 2023.
My goal, and a small dream for the future, is to introduce our guests and visitors to the small, still-wild and less crowded corners of our region, exploring ridges and rock routes that are little known and have not yet become famous.
Over time, I have realized that when most people think of the 4,000-metre peaks, they mainly have the normal routes in mind. The views from those heights are undoubtedly incredible, but sometimes the crowds on the mountain can take away a little from the experience.
By relying on our experience and local knowledge, you can discover a different side of the Aosta Valley and enjoy a truly unique experience in our region!
